Wedding Planning Business Plan

Wedding Planning includes a lot of different things including a wedding planning business plan, SEO, branding, website redesign, proposal creation... the list is at least a mile long.  

One of the things that I have had to become an expert in is wedding planner SEO.  I'm so deep into it, I can tell you things I never thought I had to know.  Can I hire somebody to do this for me?  Yes.  Do I want to?  No.  And I'll tell you why...I did have an SEO company help get me started but when I wasn't seeing any sort of return on my investment of multiple hundreds of dollars per month.  But they didn't "get" the nuances of my business.  ie: Most of my weddings are destination weddings, I offer many different types of services and we have several different areas where I'm working, our Google local distance is about 200 miles from Napa Valley in all directions.

I decided to deep dive into figuring it out myself.  It's paid off in spades...now I not only track my own SEO regularly, but I also am able to do that for my consultancy clients.  I can pretty easily now figure out what you need to do to rank better, track your progress and see real results.  It's something you can add to your wedding planning business plan: SEO guru! 

Below is a screenshot of my own SEO ranking for June, I've been tracking since February and I'm pretty dang impressed if I do say so myself.  It's about being strategic when figuring out what you're going to rank for, what your competition for ranking is and how you're going to master this yourself.  

All of these rankings, my set competitors, and backlinks all lead to new inquiries looking at my website.  From there, I have to give them the goods to stay at the site and request information.  That's the next challenge.  Wedding planner, event designer, event creative SEO...just another service I offer our All Access Consultancy clients.
